Welcome to my world of creativity and inspiration!
My work is autobiographical, a reflection of readings, emotions and concerns of our fast-changing environment. It often incorporates gestural marks and suggests realism so anyone can read them. My collection includes paintings, drawings, prints, and much more.
Whether you need a custom piece or just want to explore some beautiful art, you are in the right place. If any of my pieces interest you or you have any questions, please use the 'Enquire' button to contact me with the name of the art and we shall make it happen.

Here I reference a long ride on their Triumphs. Still wearing the winter bike gear gave me licence to play with the textures of the acrylic paint on canvas which I like to use as it is such a contrast to the ubiquitous screens we are all surrounded by. Mostly my works are narrative. You may see a third character to add ambiguity to the story.

Description: This collage I started working on while in a studio with a group of artists all working on our own works but also a lot of discussions were happening. Sometimes even with many distractions I find I can be in the flow and relaxed enough to put away the self-critic and just be & go with my instincts. This was one of those wonderful days. The composition was floating for a while and, not till I got back to my studio did I see the structure that was needed to hold all the elements together,

Description: (Edition of five) Inspiration watching the manoeuvres in the flight of the Peregrines in Pemberton. Then meeting up with a wheelchair-bound person the same day I was contemplating the two together. Sketching my ideas I decided to create this lino cut.
Reduction Lino or woodcut is made using one block: For multiple colours, the first part of the design is carved into a block, then inked, printing the first colour. The block is then cleaned, carved again, and inked for the next colour. The process of carving and printing continues for each subsequent colour till little may be left of the original block.

Medium: Acrylic metal leaf on panel
Price: $1600
Description: Rest and relief for the mind and for our planet. An acrylic landscape with gold leaf as a reference to the history of mining. Gold can symbolise wealth, success, prestige, prosperity, compassion and religious enlightenment. Gold also has a dire history and is still retrieved from the land using the poorest people in the world. I created a decorative composition that could also hold many dark secrets for the eye to traverse, rest and rejuvenate.
Size: 36x36cm
Medium: Pastels and oil on canvas
Price: $900
Description: I began this work as a celebration, thinking and reflecting on my fortunate situation. My appreciation of the diversity of my surroundings. After observing the Long Neck Turtles ambling through the Sword Grass up from the river, crossing the red ochre gravel then slide down the clay walls to the water of our dam in front of my home. Later I watched them crawl out and dig into the hard gravel ground to lay eggs. (Next day I saw the cracked soft empty egg shells at the burial site, with scratching etched into the ground from the Fox that had eaten the eggs.)
This canvas started as a pastel then texture and hazy effects to help keep it light. Then moved on to using light oil paint on the canvas.
Size: 52x42cm
Medium: Acrylic gold leaf on canvas

Size: 16x20cm
Medium: Inks over gold leaf (metal) on canvas panel
Price: $600
Description: Though the composition shows two people back to back perhaps I've got your back would also be suitable as I intended the composition to be strong, upright and supportive in emotion and structure. I am excited to use the metal leaf which is so interesting as it changes as you move around, shimmering and dulling depending on the lighting and the amount of wash I use to reduce reflection. Using metal leaf the possibilities and effects can create a sea of difficulties that inspire me to learn how to use it.
